I'm Orville, an engineer and maker with a focus on additive manufacturing, software development, and the tools that bridge the two. I started Titan 3D out of a conviction that the AM industry deserved better — better quality, better communication, and better software. Over time that conviction expanded beyond print services into building the tools I wished existed.
When I'm not running prints, I'm writing code, publishing articles, or designing parts that push what desktop AM can actually do.
TriplyAM is my open-source desktop application for generating TPMS and Voronoi lattice infill structures. It takes any STL or 3MF part and fills the interior with printable, lightweight lattice geometry — gyroid, Schwarz P, Schwarz D, Schoen I-WP, or Voronoi — while preserving a solid outer shell. It runs on Linux and Windows and is completely free under the MIT License.
MakerPrice is a cross-platform pricing app built in partnership with Wright Consulting LLC. It helps makers accurately price their work by calculating true production cost from materials, time, machine overhead, and expenses — then suggesting profitable selling prices. Available on Android, iOS, and the web.
I publish articles on additive manufacturing — covering materials, process selection, design for AM, and the software side of making things. The goal is practical, honest information rather than marketing copy.
